Switchgear Engineer:

Fahim, Nanji & deSouza is seeking a senior electrical engineer with at least five to ten years of sustained experience in medium voltage (5 KV-27KV) switchgear engineering. The candidate is expected to be the lead engineer in supporting the manufacture of switchgear line-ups using off-the shelf equipment.

The desired experience will include as a minimum the following:

• Ability to specify equipment and use it for a specific design using IEEE codes.
• Integrate all switchgear elements to form a completely operational switchgear line-up
• Detailed design experience relating to bus design, bus supports etc.
• Some knowledge of protective relays and control

Suitable candidates will be working directly with international customers.
